i got an inspire 3 because my apple watch feels too thick and clunky to sleep or work out with. i wear my apple watch during my normal days but fitbit for sleep and the gym. the battery life is better as someone else mentioned, but other than that it was really just personal preference for a thinner

Same. OP I have all the same bulk and sensory issues as you, and the Fitbit Inspire 3 is the only one that works for me.

I have had the fitbit luxe in the past and when it died I switched to Inspire 3. Both perfect for my super tiny wrists but Inspire 3 has a much better battery life!

I've been wearing the Inspire 3 for a few years and I love it, it's lightweight and comfortable (especially with a replacement band) and gives me all the functionality I need. A simple Fitbit will do this. I wear my regular watch on my left wrist and a small Fitbit Inspire 3 on my right wrist. A full charge lasts about three weeks and barely notice wearing it.
