Google’s Fitbit Air Will Come in 3 Colors, Several Band Options
It's been 3 years since Charge 6. I swapped to the Helios band when my Fitbit broke. I tried the Whoop first, but it was way too expensive to justify keeping it. I miss having time and heart rate visible on my wrist. I don't want the Air unless it's offering something completely differentiating from

Charge 6, one year later - sorely disappointed. Utterly useless and unreliable.
I got a Charge 6 last year because it appeared to hit the sweet spot of a fitness tracker that had a few of the key smart watch features (clock, timer, notifications, google pay, etc) while also having heart rate and (importantly) wasn’t gigantic.
Immediately after purchasing it, I was disappointe

Charge 6 won't sync
I've already tried uninstalling the app, factory resetting my watch, clearing cache, rebooting my phone, turning on/off Bluetooth, etc. Nothing works.
It's been like this for a couple weeks where the app won't sync with the watch. I'll try to force it to sync by pulling down on the screen, but just

Google Fitbit Air is about to launch with no screen and a big AI health push
Fitbit took away the desktop/browser app, which allowed data analysis on a large screen. Whoop still has that, and this advantage makes the subscription worth it. Right now, I'm wearing both Whoop and Charge 6 and making comparisons. It's SO MUCH easier to browse the heart rate data with Whoop and i

Charge 6 heart rate inaccuracy
They’re just not as accurate as actual medical devices. None of my cardiologists over the past couple of years felt like the Charge 6 data had any value in medical. I was advised that they can give me an idea or estimate but that I shouldn’t necessarily believe it, if I questioned a heart rate as be

Charge 6 is losing its mind
For the past 6 months, my Charge 6 is not syncing sleep score with my watch unless I manually sync it about 8 times. HR data is questionable and won’t display half the time. The annoyance level is off the charts. Owned a fitbit for over 12 years. This may be the end.

Charge 6, stop this nonsense!
My main issue with my C6 since I bought it in July is the heart rate glitch, where it randomly jumps to 200bpm for no reason. (Prompted me to have a load of medical tests, proved the device was faulty). Turns out it just occasionally triples the reading for fun.
Then yesterday, a new error. At 12.

Charge 6 HR seems so exaggerated
Funnily enough I have a Charge 6 and a Helio Strap and I find the Fitbit under reports heart rate compared to the strap, which I wear on my bicep as that purportedly gives more accurate readings.

How much of a delay is there for the heart rate monitoring?
I find it’s a little delayed to my Fitbit Charge 6, but it is only 2-3 seconds or so.

Does anyone have issues with the Charge 6 interpreting a high resting heart rate as exercise and a good thing?
You should see a Dr especially if you also have symptoms, but be aware there's a known error with the C6 where it just does random spikes like this. Mine did it last summer and sent me down a 'heart issue' rabbit holes, thankfully nothing was wrong other than the Fitbit device 😬 If you search both h
