What’s a brand you’ll never trust again and why?
I've had my Garmin Instinct 2 for about a year now. It's almost comical how much more data I get from my swims compared to the Fitbit Charge 5 I had. Fitbit basically had like duration and extrapolated number of laps from motion. That was it. It was also wrong on even that one metric more often than

Why is my HRV so low?
Im glad you mentioned this as my Fitbit charge 5 is recorded my HRV between 20- 28. I recently purchased the Polo strap which is accurate for HRV and which other devices are bench marked against. On the polar app my HRV is consistently the 50's! My partner is in the 50's on his new Amazfit device an

I gave up trying to make it work consistently and just ended up buying a Garmin. Google/Fitbit have screwed me over enough with devices that have just stopped functioning (RIP to my Charge 5), and the monthly cost to get the most out of my smart watches.

Tell me if I should/not get a fitbit
12 years with Fitbit, from the One pedometer through all the versions leading to the Charge line. Due to new ownership, when my Charge 5 died I left Fitbit. (Except I still use my Aria scale, which has also had the data nerfed so I'm looking to get a newer body composition scale) As a new user, with

Charge 5 just died. Not sure I'll get another one
When my Charge 5 died the Charge 6 cost $300 due to the exchange rate. The price is better now. But the difference between my Xiaomi Band 9 and Fitbit Charge 5 is NOT worth over $150 to me. Especially since the Xiaomi exercise tracking screen is much better than tapping through various screens on th
