Kid wants an Oura ring
My kid has had a couple of fitbits in her life, but the best and most recent one is her Fitbit ace lte. It’s connected to network towers so you can track its location and allow specific contacts to message and call the watch. It does not have a phone number, but all communication is done through the

Pixel Watch 2/3 vs Fitbit Sense/Versa 3 charging cable
Wanted a spare charging cable but didn't want to spend $30 for the USB-C cable sold on the Google store. Ordered an open box OEM Fitbit Sense (1&2)/Versa (3&4) charging cable from Best Buy for $7 and it does a decent job. Charged my PW3 45mm from 62% to 100% in about 40 minutes.
Cons: Magnet isn't

Two months on with the Fitbit Ace LTE
It has been nearly two months since my daughter (10) started using her Fitbit Ace LTE. I purchased it from Google with delivery set for day of release. We have a fair bit of experience with the watch now, so I thought I would write about our experience since the watch and service as a whole seem to

Skechers made shoes with access to an AirTag
This is what the Galaxy SmartTag didn't really work for me (I have an Android). It only registers its position if a Samsung device is nearby and often when he was in school I couldn't get it to register. So I got him a Fitbit Ace LTE watch because it includes GPS. I had to replace the band with one

I’m genuinely SHOCKED… + revealing our family secrets
Title explanation: Jess is shocked how quickly Addie picked up all the cheer stuff. The family secret is their homemade ice cream recipe.
This video is sponsored by Best Buy. How cool is that? Oh my goodness. Jess swears Landen’s room is the best thing they’ve ever done. Jess doesn’t know how she

GMRS for me, toddler, and family
Rather than a walkie talkie, have you considered something like a Cosmo JrTrack 5 or a Fitbit Ace LTE? That might fit your use case a bit better in terms of range, ease of use, and kid friendliness. … My niece and nephew had them before they got older and eventually got cell phones. Pros: Can talk t

Took my tween’s phone & iPad away and the results are immediate and amazing
Ditto. I know it's because they can't have teachers analyzing whether it's a full-up Apple Watch or a severely restricted Fitbit Ace LTE or something, but it's still frustrating. We've compromised by having the kids put them in their backpacks while they're in school and wear them the rest of the ti

Problem solved!
Oh Lord! We, the "Tech-Nerds," have a screw loose in our heads. 😂 But to be honest, I think I'll stay with the Pixel Watch 4 45mm and sell my 51mm Garmin Enduro 3. I also have the BPM device, HRM Strap, and the scale. Since I'm not a high-performance athlete, I didn't find much difference between th

Smartwatch for tracking your kids
I got the Garmin Bounce for my kid when he had to start riding the bus home and I wasn't going to be home till 2 hours after. We moved on from it, but the limitations might be features for a 4 year old. Pros: Connectivity subscription was the cheapest of the different ones available. Simple to use.

Emergency phone for youngin
At that age my kids would lose a phone within 2 days max. Maybe a watch, but that's questionable too probably at least for another year.. Fitbit Ace LTE has the features you're looking for I think, though not sure about 911. Also has mixed reviews on signal availability Edit: ace, not axe
