Need suggestion for grinder to pair with bambino plus [under $200]

DF54 had some good reviews. But i bought a femobook A2 on a whim and its amazing. Especially for light roasts. And it’s only $99. But it is primarily a mobile/travel grinder. But it just produces super nice espresso.

Question for Femobook A2 owners

I've settled on a 0.1mm shim between the adjuster & dial indicator, which offsets the grind adjustments about 5.5 clicks finer going by the femobook specs & doesn't affect the adjuster click positivity too much. I have it set around 5-7 clicks from the adjuster end stop depending on the coffee, whic

Grinder Rec - Timemore c3s pro VS. Kingrinder k6

I have the K6. Love it. But for light roasts and soup I would recommend the Femobook A2 over the K6 for clarity. Same price give or take and it can do espresso too without the manual hassle. I mean for spro not soup

Aaobosi (budget) grinder.. it's pretty decent...

There’s no shame in cheaper gear. Quite the opposite. It is quite impressive. if somebody is on the fence, I love Femobook A2. It is in similar price range. I got it for about €90. It is battery powered, but produces tasty espresso even from fairly light coffees.

How many grinders do you have?

  1. Mavo phantox pro, k-ultra, j-ultra and femobook a2 Got the femobook after a hand injury stopped me grinding coffee for a month. I've been very impressed with it. Won't go fine enough for cafelat robot for anything better than 3 bar, but it does amazing shots at 1 and 2 bar. Edit- still got the brevi

New grinder, Diamond A, posted on IG.

That’s a ridiculous and inaccurate thing to say. This 1ZPRESSO manual grinder is $389. Tons of options that are better for ~$400 or less. Femobook uses 1ZPRESSO burrs and the A2 is $99 and will do espresso and the A4 is $279 and uses the same burr as the 1ZPRESSO J Ultra, their best espresso burr. T

Best home setup for $500 or less

Femobook A2 is around $100 and is much better than my Rancillio Rocky for lighter roasts at espresso grind size. 100% recommend the A2 for a cheap motorised grinder with a good burr set.

Manual grinder or getting espresso ground in store?

Was just trying to give an option for a motorized grinder that is small in size. I know many people do not like hand grinding for espresso as it can be rather difficult but it seems like you don't want anything larger than a hand grinder! All I was saying was the Femobook A4 is battery powered so it

Portable, battery-powered grinder comparison: Timemore Whirly, Femobook A2, CERA+ CGE01, Outin Fino

I use a Femobook A2 with an Ikape Kapo K2 for espresso. No problem. Espresso shots are excellent. Some people add a small washer beneath the Femobook A2 burr for espresso. I haven’t had to do that. Overall I think the A2 is a banger of a grinder and an outstanding value.

Better manual or worse automatic grinder? [250$]

i really like my femobook A2 if you want to buy new. if you like light roast espresso, i like it more than niche zero. but if you can buy used, definitely a used mazzer with 64mm burrs
