Espresso Series 1

Nice setup. I recently upgraded to a Fellow ES1 espresso machine and then sold it. That experience made me realize how good the Bambino Plus is for the price, so I went back to a new Bambino in the sesame color. It has much more character than the stainless steel look.

I think if Fellow REALLY wants to make nice with customers, anyone who owns the disastrous Series 1 grinder should get 50% off a Series 2 purchase. That’s the only way I’d stay with Fellow, and not move to another machine.

Look into the DE1. Will do what you want and then some. Plus a much much better track record than Fellow. You can also buy extended warranty essentially for life. If you aren’t needing that difference in money from micra to ES1, that is. If you are in need of funds you might need to rethink.

Fellow operates in a VERY unique niche. They make products at a price point that always falls under prosumer, yet stands above typical consumer goods - making them a pseudo-luxury product, that’s affordable to most. Same goes for their quality. They look good and clearly aren’t Temu special products
