Espresso Series 1 owners, be aware that volumetric mode is turned on by default…
Thank you for this post. I'm a Fellow fan-boy. Been buying there stuff since day 1. My wife and I got the Series 1 - our first espresso machine. We love espresso and a good latte, but never had a machine at home. I feel like we are the target audience for a machine like this. Out of the box volume s

Rate my **FOR DISPLAY ONLY** setup
Man I have been seeing a flood of posts about how Fellow products just break or do not work. Grinders spilling, groupheads not producing water or water not being the right temp as advertised. I was considering buying the ES1 because its a beautiful looking machine but all of these reviews give me pa

What's going on with Drops? Getting iffy.
I had ZERO luck with Gitare AB. Complete waste. It was the most frustrating coffee I have ever tried to dial in. The ES1 profile spit out the same yield no matter what grind I used, and I’ve calibrated my volumetric settings according to fellows recommendations. I think if fellow is going to recomme

La Marzocco linea micra vs decent espresso vs wait for fellow espresso series 1 [$4500]
Fellow Series 1 could be a great value for the money, or it could be a total bust. AFAIK, no independent reviewer has used it outside of a demo that was carefully orchestrated by Fellow. But if you believe in the adage "you get what you pay for", FS1 is highly unlikely to perform in the same league

Fellow ES1 vs WPM Primus [2000€]
I have watched a ton of Fellow ES1 videos, reviews and reddit, and while waiting for the preorder to start, someone told me about WPM Primus and I was instantly sold. Now I got it for about 7 months and can't find a reason to dislike it. Why I would avoid the fellow - there are a lot of negative exp

Quality Concerns For Future Products
Fellow operates in a VERY unique niche. They make products at a price point that always falls under prosumer, yet stands above typical consumer goods - making them a pseudo-luxury product, that’s affordable to most. Same goes for their quality. They look good and clearly aren’t Temu special products

[MOD] Inside Scoop - Ask the coffee industry
So.... Anyone here have experience with the latest from Fellow? The espresso series 1? Effectively no one whose opinion can be trusted. They just announced it, so the only people with hands-on experience work for Fellow in developing the machine. I don't think they've even shared sample models with

Continue to wait for fellow espresso series one, or move on to something else? [$3,500]
So the temperature sensor on the wand is definitely something I haven't seen before: I would be concerned with accidentally touching the sensor against hot metal, stopping flow of steam. Auto-purging of steam wand when it's in down position is not necessarily something I would want. Pre-infusion / p

Got it dialed in
I tried the Espresso Series 1 for a whole week and couldn't get that thing to produce a single good shot of espresso. I tried different beans, tried different shot profiles, tried volumetric offsets, contacted Fellow support and they were less than helpful. I ended up returning it to Best Buy for a

Help: Espresso Series 1 volatile water pressure issue
My ES1 does this with light roasts too. I think in other threads Fellow has said this is normal response of the control loop.It doesn’t seem…normal to me. But medium/dark roasts don’t seem to have the same issue. Edit: here’s a post with Nick’s reply. It seems to depend on puck / specific coffee typ
