I think the Fellow ES1 or Meraki are good starter options in that price point with relatively low heat up times. Breville bambino is a good starter option to learn too. If you go that route you can buy a much nicer grinder like a Timemore 078s, or Niche Zero

I'm an ES1 owner. You likely aren't going to find a lot of love for it on this sub. It works for me, i can tinker with settings. my wife can push a button and get her coffee. I'd only recommend it if you have that situation where one person wants to tinker with espresso and other people in the house
