Series 1 dead on arrival :(

I have been hesitant to consider the ES1 (after seeing loud voices re: the Aiden). The response here now has me considering it. Things will always break. Service should not, and it seems Fellow is on it.

Update on the df64coffee.com saga: They are now trying to delete their own name off Trustpilot.

It really should. This is why you will see lots of Fellow ES1 owners. A lot of people would take a “potentially inferior” product that they can walk in a purchase from a store that they trust.

I managed to score a review of the WPM Primus. Roast me

Looks like a really cool machine. I’m a series 1 pre order customer. This is actually making me think twice, but the fellow at my price point was 2/3rd the price of this machine (without considering shipping to US). The gear pump and direct plumb capability are awesome. I like the form factor overal

Continue to wait for fellow espresso series one, or move on to something else? [$3,500]

lol this thing always getting hate on here. I preordered mine as soon as I saw it mostly because of how great the Aiden has been for us. My first espresso machine was a vintage dual switch La Pavoni Europiccola. Bought it on eBay in 2018. It’s the only espresso machine I’ve ever owned. I learned how

Opus 2 Conical 48mm coming soon

Was looking at posts about the ES1 and saw Nick talk about it on another thread a few weeks ago! I'm stoked that they timed this release after ES1's shipping, so that I could possibly use the $200 preorder gift card on it. I'm considering it since my current grinder is a 1Zpresso K-Ultra handgrinder

New setup

The decent is my favorite home espresso machine IF you want to prioritize modern and light roast espresso. If you are mostly a medium dark - dark roast person it doesn’t really matter which machine you have after a certain point. Most darker roast espresso performs well with the standard 9bar flat s

What machine should I buy? [Budget $1800]

I live near a Fellow Store and was able to look at the ES1. I ordered an ES1 Rebrew unit yesterday and am pairing it with a Ceado Life X grinder, so the total including glorious CA taxes is about $1830. The rebrew units are about 20% off but be aware that while that have the same 2 year warranty, th

Decent DE1Pro - worth it over the Fellow ES1? [$4kish]

There are a few competitors though, like the wendougee, that is great value for money as well. But for me its the open source part. The standard software of the decent is not.great, but there are some amazing additions on the fora's to really improve the machine. And yes its great value for money wh

Espresso setup that balances nerd-level control with girlfriend-friendly usability (Drive vs Move vs Micra vs Duo vs Decent vs Fellow?) [$4000-$5000 budget]

Fellow has a 5 year added warranty for $150.... Idk if I've ever seen peace of mind at a more approachable price point. Have the ES1, wife want interested in any profiles or anything complicated.... At least at first glance and initial discussions. Now after a let's say a month, she's looking at hig
