For me, it's not about the device interoperability, but rather about ExpressVPN's forcing a purchase of their own merely rebranded (i.e., GL.iNet-modified) router to use as a client, when this is not at all necessary. I've been a loyal customer for a decade-and-a-half, but it ends with this greed.
