I know what everyone is going to say: DF54 and Bambino Plus 😄 I like my current setup now, with a De'Longhi Dedica and an Eureka Mignon Specialita, and I think those two will fit in your budget.

Preground coffee doesnt really get you a true espresso. Its closer to a moka pot. But if your gf doesnt really care about about it being "true" espresso you can get breville bambino. Its kinda like Red Wine. Some people don't care and will drink the box stuff. Some people won't drink anything below

Silvia and Eureka Mignon Specialita hard to beat! get some good scales, decent pressure-loaded tamper, and make your own WDT thingy and you're good to go!

ngl the niche zero is amazing for dark roasts and that full chocolatey body you want. i've had one for two years and it nails that texture. tariffs suck but it still beats most flat burrs for your taste profile. if you want to stay under budget though, the eureka mignon specialita gives similar body

Meine erste Adresse waren da immer lokale Röst
