Eureka Mignon vs Timemore 064 SSP vs DF54 [$360]
i've had the Eureka Mignon Notte, like the Manuale but with "only" a 210 watt motor for 5 years, and I'll probably have it another 5. Never an issue. The Manuale has their standard 310 watt motor. Look at the motor size of the others... Burr size is marketing bs in my opinion. I recently added a 5 d

A grinder. Get a Eureka Mignon Notte or even a Baratza Encore ESP. You’ll immediately have better results.

Entry level machine upgrade from a Mr. Coffee espresso maker [$600]
Your OXO grinder is going to be the bottleneck here, more than the machine as you start to scale up. I started with an old Breville myself and didn't start pulling shots the way I actually wanted them until I upgraded to a good grinder, I splurged and bought a Mini Mazzer grinder - it was a big purc

Grinder, bottomless portafilter, wdt and tamper buying advice needed [$100] for each
I suggest you spend ~$350 on a grinder & <$50 on a scale. Not sure about your region specifically, but in many you can get a eureka mignon notte in this price range. This will have the biggest impact. After that, you'll want to get a real tamper, but you don't have to spend too much on this.

Should I upgrade my grinder? [£400]
Get a Eureka Mignon and you can continue to buy neat accessories from ARO. :) He makes great stuff! The aluminum hopper is so well built, and his setting dial has an aluminum faceplate and knob. His inclined stand is a magnetic masterpiece. I have the Mignon Notte (cheapest espresso capable model) f

What would you buy for your 3 year old gaggia classic pro?
D54 - 150 watt motor/ Hibrew G5 - 180 watt motor/ My 5 year old Eureka Mignon Notte - 210 watt motor and still grinding strong (Eureka's more expensive models have 310 watt motors). I recently dressed it up with accessories from ARO Espresso on Etsy, including an aluminum hopper with bellows, large
