Be real with me. Opening an Espresso bar in a Barber Shop. [$1500-$2000]

Don't get a DF64 for a place like that. It's LOUD. Your barbershop customers do not need a grinder screaming in their ears. If you're looking at Eureka Mignon's, I'd try to stretch the budget to go for the Libra. It can grind by weight so you don't have to faff around with weighing beans while you h

Round Two! Looking for a good grinder for espresso with easy cleaning & maintenance other than Niche Zero [$1000]

I always say Eureka Mignon Libra, now $800. I have a 16 month old 55mm version, still flawless operation, zero retention, can walk up and have the shot in 10 seconds. The hopper holds a 12 oz bag, which assumes you'll drink that in a week or less so as not to go stale. Grind is very quiet, build is

Quietest espresso electric grinder under [$400USD]

Love my Mignon Libra (original 55mm, now $800?!), but Eureka sells cheaper Mignon options ($400). Whole Latte Love sells refurbished, as does Amazon. Most Mignons now have sound attenuation treatment by default. (They used to advertise it only for better models.) Mine is pretty quiet, although I've

Grinders? I'm totally lost. Need your help choosing one! [1000$]

Eureka Mignon Libra or a refurbished Atom 65W. Grind-by-weight is a nice time saver.

Any opinions on Eureka grinders? The range is so confusing that I can't pick a grinder that would suit me

I have a mignon libra 65ap, and it typically weighs +- .1g to target. Good enough that I only spot check it just for fun. I like it, and the GBW feature is fun every time I use it.... and it fit in the space I had. Others I was looking at were too tall...

Bambino Plus found, now need grinder [$500]

I can't recommend something in the Eureka Mignon line enough. I have a Libra, but many below grind the same. Their product line is too complicated and it changes every year, I'm pretty sure to obfuscate and segment the market. So I made a break down of each Mignon here: https://www.reddit.com/user/d

Mahlkönig E64 WS Arrived Today! Home setup is complete

So, the grinder is setup and grinding. Coming from a Eureka Specialita Turbo no tears yet. Look, I enjoy gatekeeping from time to time as much as the next guy. I get it, it's not a $3K Mahlkonig, it's not built as robustly as commercial machines, and the location of final assembly is different. Havi

How do you handle coffee for a small office without overspending?

Go back to drip coffee, get a grind by weight grinder, use good fresh beans The grinder will be expensive, but the weighing will cut down on time prepping. Eureka Mignon Libra 65 All Purpose, the larger burrs cost a little more, but are a lot faster, if time is not an issue the 55 model is available

Eureka specialita & black diamond burrs

For the Mignons I recommend the third party ARO metal precision grinding dial. It sets 0 at chirp, but also divides each increment into 10 substeps. The default dial is 10 with 3 subs, the ARO is 10 with 10 subs, so 3x more precision. On my Libra, I'm always adjusting between 11 and 14, very fine ad
