Round Two! Looking for a good grinder for espresso with easy cleaning & maintenance other than Niche Zero [$1000]
I always say Eureka Mignon Libra, now $800. I have a 16 month old 55mm version, still flawless operation, zero retention, can walk up and have the shot in 10 seconds. The hopper holds a 12 oz bag, which assumes you'll drink that in a week or less so as not to go stale. Grind is very quiet, build is

Quietest espresso electric grinder under [$400USD]
Love my Mignon Libra (original 55mm, now $800?!), but Eureka sells cheaper Mignon options ($400). Whole Latte Love sells refurbished, as does Amazon. Most Mignons now have sound attenuation treatment by default. (They used to advertise it only for better models.) Mine is pretty quiet, although I've

What should I gift a new Bambino Plus owner? [$300]
The grinder is the most important thing, more than the machine. But good ones are expensive. There are many recommended here, but I always recommend Eureka Mignons for their heavy, commercial look, reliability, and overall good grind. But they have a very big range of models. A Zero is cheapest for

Mara X v2 + Eureka Mignon Libra
This is my exact set up! I wanted an entry level prosumer duo that could keep up with the variety of caffeine our household enjoys: quality shots of espresso, milk drinks and cold brew. I wanted a grinder that could simplify my workflow with a built in scale and have a hopper that could hold more th

Single Dose or Grind by weight for my usecase
I’m team purge, otherwise the first coffee is noticeably different. I’m on Mignon Libra. TBH for one coffee per day I would probably go with a hand grinder, I use K-Ultra when drinking something else than my daily driver, during holidays I would crank out 8 shots per day for a week or two, the downs

Mahlkönig E64 WS Arrived Today! Home setup is complete
So, the grinder is setup and grinding. Coming from a Eureka Specialita Turbo no tears yet. Look, I enjoy gatekeeping from time to time as much as the next guy. I get it, it's not a $3K Mahlkonig, it's not built as robustly as commercial machines, and the location of final assembly is different. Havi

Grinder first or Espresso machine?[600 USD] for whole setup
My understanding is that the Baratza Encore ESP is loud and the DF54 occasionally underpowered. The Fellow Opus 2 (avoid the 1) is in this same level. They'll all do fine, but eventually you'll want a better. I upgraded my initial entry level grinder (Fellow Opus 1) to a Eureka Mignon and it is so m

Best grinder to pair with a Cafelat robot? [$500]
I use Eureka Mignon Libra with my Robot for my daily driver beans, if you don’t often change beans grind by weight is a really nice workflow. Robot’s portafilter is what I would call Libra max, the for has to be fully open but it still fits nicely.

Eureka Atom W 65 Casa vs non-Casa?
The Casa sits between the Mignon Libra and Atom 65 W. It's much more robust than the Mignon and a solid choice for a home grinder, while the 65 W is suitable for small cafe work.
