What was a good buy this year that gives you repeated joy and fun?
Not fun but a robot vacuum that mops. Really taking care of the dog hair. *edit for those asking its the Eufy x10 Pro and it can handle a very fluffy golden retriever

Are robot vacuums worth it?
Got a Eufy X10 pro a little while back. Around 70m2 of hard floor with some rugs. One dog that sheds like their life depends on it. It's a godsend, wouldn't be without it now. I still have to Hoover and mop, but it's once a week or fortnight instead of once a day.

Are robot vacuums really worth it? Has anyone had one over a year or so and still love it?
On your last point - it depends. If you have the “smart” ones they can clock cables and toys and stuff and avoid them.We have a Eufy X10 Omni and part of the reason I invested extra in that is because it can legitimately just drive around if my house is a mess (which it always is) and avoid all the

GET.THE.ROBOT.VACUUM.
Yes, do this! I always thought they were kind of silly, and then I was on crutches for over a year, and vacuuming on crutches sucks. So, I bought a cheap Roomba at Costco about 12 years ago. Loud as heck, but I could schedule it to run and it did a reasonably good job. I upgraded to a little bit nic

Anyone actually happy with their robotvacuum?
Eufy x10 pro omni. Very happy. Even when we haven't used it for a while and it is really dirty it manages to clean everything in 1 session. Both vacuum and mop.

Yes, Eufy X10 which mops and vacs, and is smart enough to map the rooms and avoid (most) objects. Once a week I put chairs on the table and clear the space properly but mostly it does the areas it can reach to get most of it dealt with. Toys left on the floor it’ll go around. Can occasionally get fo

Luxury baby item that no one talks about
I have a Eufy X10, 5 cats and I personally shed a lot of hair. This Hoover/mop has been life changing.

Wife says it's time, what's the best robot vacuum?
I like my Eufy X10 Omni, a lot of bang for the buck and I especially like never having to mop. I do, however, have to maintain the little guy. I'm something of a vacuum cleaner myself.

Best robot vacuum for pet hair? UK based.
With 2 cats + 2 dogs, you absolutely need rubber brushes (not bristles) and a self-emptying dock. Bristles will get clogged with fur in days. The mopping ones are good if they lift the mop pad automatically on carpets – otherwise you'll get wet rugs. For your situation, Eufy X10 Pro Omni (~$500/£400
