After dealing with countless issues with my eufy cameras + HB3, I decided to simply disconnect the wifi antennas.

I'll give this a whirl tomorrow and report back. I've a Homebase 3 with a 2Tb Samsung Evo 970 M.2 connected by lan to my router with 150mb down and 20mb up (I live in the sticks) and running: S330 Doorbell,E330 Pro cam x2, S220 Solo cam x1 System is ok but frustrating, as others have stated it wont

Squirrel nest box video advice

Very cute squirrel. Seems pretty happy to me. Can you supply external power? I'm not familiar with a battery powered continuous recording cam. There are some timelapse options, recording to a SD card or hard drive in a base station. But doesn't sound like a great fit for what you want to do. You can

Can I store my videos on home base 3 so wifi connected solocams?

Multi-bridge support isn’t available on all of eufy cameras. Models like the SoloCam S220 only let you connect through the homebase once joined to it, and once you join it you’re stuck with the homebase’s weak, custom WiFi. Trying to reconnect the SoloCam to anything else basically resets it. It’s a

Which camera for me?

I’m thinking of ditching eufy security for Aqara. In the mail is Eufy S4, and in the mail is Aqara G5. The Aqara took so long to ship(pre-ordered) that I ordered G5 and then S4 had shipped. duh Leaning towards returning the Eufy S4. It has features I don’t need (alarm sound and red/ green alarm ligh

SolarCam S340 offline

IMO - The solar panel isn't big enough for the S340. I ended up getting the powered USB power adapters, as each camera was mounted near an outdoor plug. The reason I say the solar panel isn't big enough. I put them on the S220 SoloCams, and with the current season, those solar panels can barely main

Are solar powered cams worth it? Which work best?

I have a Eufy SoloCam S220 and have been very pleased. Even in the winter with not much sun I never see the battery less than 75%. I have mine on the garage (SE facing) about 2 feet down from the eave. Low enough to not be shaded by the eave, but high enough to get shielded from the snow. I also hav

Anyone switched from Nest/Google cameras to Eufy or vice-versa?

I have a eufy solo cam S220 in my backyard. It has solar built in. I get false positives for people when the wind blows very hard. (Grill cover) but other than its rock solid. Has good night vision. I’m getting what I paid for. I am aware of the security concerns but it’s pointed away from my house.

Security SoloCam S340

Since nobody seems to be answering your question. It really depends on how much motion goes on around the area your camera sees, but if you have a decently populated area and get some 50 - 100 recorded events per day, I would say it will last maybe 2 - 3 weeks with just motion recordings. I had a So

Eyft Security S220 (without Homebase)

At the moment, the Eufy Android app does not have widgets to change between modes. You can link the Eufy Security as a service within Google Home, and you can view live feeds from the Google home app. However, I find the experience to be quite poor. Note that my devices go via the NVR or Homebase, s

Thoughts about eufy cam outdoor camera,s220

I just joined as I bought a eufy S220 4-cam pack. It looks very impressive, but the documentation was very skimpy and mostly only covers the more obvious outward physical aspects of the camera. There are no technical specs given - I understand that they are 2.4 WiFi, but there are no indications of
