Ive experienced Ring & Eufy, and multiple break ins (nice mountain bike) One of my break ins I found the Eufys were great, Ring not so much all I found from the Rings was the noise of them being thrown in the bin as they got ripped down - but the Eufys put together an "Event" showing all the angles

S4 reviews

Honestly… I officially reached my limit. After going through three different S4 cameras and dozens of hours of troubleshooting, it’s clear that Eufy isn't selling a finished product and they’re using customers as a free Quality Control department to find their bugs My Setup: • Cameras: Eufy S4 (Hard

I was just about to make a $1200+ purchase on the Eufy website, then I scrolled this sub. Would I make a mistake by buying in?

I switched from Arlo recently. I read the sub and saw the concerns but reality is that any sub for security cameras seem to have them. I liked the idea of not having subsciption fees, basically that's what sold me plus the quality of the 4K S4 cams. about $1000 later here I am with 8 cams total. I a

Reolink

I couldn't agree more with you. Eufy has completely lost its way, and your post just solidifies my decision to jump ship. I’ve got nearly $1,000 invested in their ecosystem (HomeBase 3, E340 Doorbell, S340 SoloCam, S4 cams, etc.), and since December, it has been an absolute nightmare. My system went

think of getting a eufy 4 camera system

I’ve just installed the Eufy NVR, hooking up three S4 cameras and four E41 Turret’s. They’re all hard wired through Ethernet PoE. For a couple of years I’ve been running five S340’s and a bunch of Wall Lights (S120), linked to a HomeBase 3, which have been really good with some caveats. The wireless

Looking to invest in a Eufy, but have specific questions on storage

I have had a homebase 2 for years with mainly a doorbell camera. My dad has had a homebase 2 for years at his place with a doorbell and an outdoor 360 camera. My sister also used one with a doorbell and some solar cameras at her rental. We have had good luck with all of our systems. I just purchased

What will I get for choosing Ubiquiti over Eufy?

I'm assuming you're talking about the eufy PoE NVR Security System S4 Max, which comes with an NVR, 2TB of HDD storage, and four cameras, each of which combines a 4K bullet with a 2K PTZ, for $1299.99. eufy calls them bullet cameras, but they seem more like turret cameras to me, at least in Unifi's

Eufy or Ubiquiti

This is not even a debate, OP. Ubiquiti with G6 models absolutely destroys Eufy and all their camera products. Like it is not a fair comparison. Eufy is extremely below Ubiquiti, even far below Reolink. It is just not even worth getting when you have other options like Reolink. Yes, the S4 Max looks

Which camera for me?

I’m thinking of ditching eufy security for Aqara. In the mail is Eufy S4, and in the mail is Aqara G5. The Aqara took so long to ship(pre-ordered) that I ordered G5 and then S4 had shipped. duh Leaning towards returning the Eufy S4. It has features I don’t need (alarm sound and red/ green alarm ligh

Home Assistant Display

The S4 NVR isn't very Home Assistant compatible in my experience, I love it for reliability and I'm happy with my purchase but compared to my old wireless Eufy cameras the HA integration is zero. With Homebase 3 connected cameras you could do ALOT more tinkering, like multiple page scrolls of switch
