From Ring to eufy
This is excellent - thank you for taking the time, OP. I have two existing camera systems: an 8 camera hardwired system, and a 10 camera wireless system. I also have a Ring doorbell. About three weeks ago I ordered a 4G LTE 330 so I could keep an eye on one of my properties without Internet access.

E340 - I'm excited
I’ve installed two of these at two different family homes - they’ve been fantastic. Lights are plenty bright enough and we’ve stopped several intrusions checking for unlocked cars on our property in the past 18months as-well as had two neighbours around us broken into - again the lack of a driveway

A family member wants to murder us
I live on 5 acres that’s fenced & gated & felt the need for security on our compound. 1st off I would get your gate operational. You need “layers of protection” starting around your perimeter. If Gate is solar it’s panel is charging a battery & that battery probably needs to be replaced & solar pane

What's the best solar security camera? what should I look for when setting one up for a small house with no wiring?
You can set it to only track/record what you want it to trigger on. I have mine set to track for: Human Detection + Human Recognition (tells me who it is if I have that person already identified in database Homebase 360 database) + Vehicle + Pet Detection. I did not ck “all other motions” thus if a

Opinion on security camera?
Eufy flood light cam or ring floodlight cam if you want something that just works and still keep the lights. Note, make sure your wifi reaches that area of the house upstairs. They do require a subscription.

Which eufy doorbell to get?
To answer some questions, you don’t NEED the hub but it makes things easier for devices that connect to it. The base 3 is much better storage and I can’t talk on the AI but it’s pretty good at picking up who’s who Without a base you’d get generic motion and person alerts and all data would be stored

is the Eufy platform that bad?
I had Ring for roughly 8 years, and while I really liked it a lot at first, the feeling faded. The wired doorbells kept dying to thunderstorms, the battery powered ones needed batteries replaced every few months because of how quickly they’d drain, and there were so many different expenses. The mont

Homebase 3 upgrade
My system is mostly Eufy based with a range of their products. One thing is pretty clear, the best performance comes from powered cameras. Battery cameras (even ones with solar panels) just don't come close. My best Eufy camera is a Floodlight E340 which uses Homebase 3. I tracks target, 360° PTZ wi
