Should I return it?

Is Eufy perfect? No. Is Eufy crap? No. I have around 17 Eufy devices connected to one HB3. A couple of the older floodlight cams have flaky WiFi connection to my mesh which I plan to replace with their newer floodlight cams E340 later this year since the E340 I installed last year have been rock sol

I was just about to make a $1200+ purchase on the Eufy website, then I scrolled this sub. Would I make a mistake by buying in?

I love my eufy setup. 2 E340 doorbells, 2 C220 locks, 1 C30 lock, 5 2C cameras, 3 indoor pan & tilt cams, and the E30 floodlight. No real issues with any of them. After some tweaking with positioning, sensitivity levels, etc they're totally set it and forget it. Naturally, they don't quite compete w

I see a lot of complaints about the Solocam S340 & E340 Doorbell missing events. Here is the reason why.

Ingenic T40. I have a few of them in service for over 2yrs, no real issues as long as you can maintain a solid wifi connection with minimal channel interference from neighbours. I'm guessing the Wifi chip is pretty weak, it's an AIC8800D80 and I had more connection issues with it vs the old 2K flood

Which Eufy Doorbell (wired) should i get?

eufy’s cameras are a great idea but it’s poorly executed. the best camera they ever made was the floodlight e340 in my personal experience of owning it for years. the software is buggy and an update can ruin all ur cams. i’d go full POE system from reolink. they have floodlight cams and doorbell cam

best floodlight camera what should I get if I’m totally new to home security?

Wired is usually the right call for what you described since it avoids battery management and tends to be more stable long-term. The eufy floodlight cams are generally good for basic driveway coverage and false alerts are usually manageable once you tune motion zones and sensitivity a bit. Night vid

What's the best solar security camera? what should I look for when setting one up for a small house with no wiring?

You can set it to only track/record what you want it to trigger on. I have mine set to track for: Human Detection + Human Recognition (tells me who it is if I have that person already identified in database Homebase 360 database) + Vehicle + Pet Detection. I did not ck “all other motions” thus if a

Can the floodlight cam be connected to the home security kit?

I have two Eufy floodlight cams and they are both tied to a Home Base 3. The only way to avoid signal jamming is to go with a whole-house wired system which can be quite costly. My 26 year old house had a fully wired ADT system installed when it was built and I tore it out during a remodel and repla

I almost committed to the Eufy ecosystem, I'm really glad I didn't

I have a floodlight cam E340 and over a dozen other Eufy cams of various generations. I had a router failure and added 3 Deco65's a mesh WiFi7 system by TP Link. The transition was hard because I changed the SSID. My new network has 3 SSIDs, ssid, ssid_Iot, and ssid_MNO. I didn't the guest option. The

Ring to Eufy switch?

I use both Eufy and Tapo, but Eufy is my preferred ecosystem. Eufy Recommendations Outdoors: S4 Solocam – Best overall. Triple-lens (4K + 2×2K PTZ), solar + battery, and true 24/7 if wired. Quick-swap battery is a huge plus (will outlive any camera with a built-in batter as long as other hardware la
