Help me with my first keyboard

The Epomaker Rt100 is kind of the poster child for why you should never buy anything from Epomaker. I see more complaints about that board, expecially the gimmicky screen, than any other Epomaker product. And that's not a company to shy away from shipping terrible keyboards. The Akko 5075 VIA is kin

[Hobby Scuffles] Week of 18 August 2025

to quote a post from the first link: Just to clarify, there's a massive difference in quality between the Epomaker branded original keebs (RT100 is one of them) and the dropshipped stuff, like the Aula, Leobog, Feker Galaxy, Cidoo (which is rebranded Zuoya). The Epomaker branded stuff is horrible an

Comparison: South Facing RGB, Clear Housing Switch (Aqua King) VS Opaque Switch (Panda)

The Quinn’s were is exactly what I put into a cheap Epomaker RT100 Board. They feel great, but the weak south facing LEDs on the board hardly shine through at all with the opaque switch.

newest technology on keyboards(?

there's a growing trend of using optical switches Optical is a defunct technology that's almost completely been replaced by magnetic boards. Attack Shark is engaged in fraudulent advertising and shouldn't be trusted. Epomaker is notorious for poor quality (the RT100 is the poster child for keyboards

Why are my ESC and FUNCTIONS KEYS + KNOB not working? 😭

Something similar happened to my Epomaker rt100, they told me it's a board issue, so I'm already searching for a new keyboard. I do hope your case is different, check if "game mode" is not active, although it should only disable the f-keys

Git Core Alice

Just wanted to say, I bought the RT100 a couple years ago and didnt realize how bad the company is. The Sea Salts came with that board. I switched them out for Leobog Graywood V3s (Great switch, still unfortunately in the Epomaker umbrella). I had the Sea Salts laying around and thought they'd be pe

Silent keycaps?

Epomaker is fine. Just buy it on amazon and get a long term warranty. I have multiple Epomakers and the only one that went bad with dead keys was the RT100, years ago.

Help finding a keyboard

epomaker rt100 You're lucky. That board is kind of the poster-child for why you shouldn't buy an Epomaker. Lots of complaints about it on Reddit. The screen in particular is failure-prone.

Can Someone recommend a new Keyboard for me? Full size and pink pls

ugh that sucks when a board just dies. for full size pink that's actually good, check the LTC NB681 - comes in that soft pink and has hot swap sockets so your old caps will fit. if you want to save money since you already have keycaps, look for a barebones kit like the MonsGeek M5 in pink and just a
