emeet c960 is solid if youre on a budget, works great with obs. if you want something better the emeet pixy has dual cameras and ai tracking, pretty good middle ground before jumping to expensive stuff

for that setup you need a kvm with usb c dp alt mode and multiple hdmi/dp inputs, look at level1techs kvm or ugreen models for the webcam emeet c960 works great with kvm switching cause its basic usb no special drivers, had issues with logitech software not switching properly

emeet c960 works great with mac mini, plug and play with zoom no drivers needed. its like 60 bucks and 4k which is overkill for zoom but future proof, also has dual mics so audio backup if needed

I am using to emeet c960. Emeet c960 comes with a tripod mount so you can put it on a small desk tripod instead of clipping to monitor. been using mine like that for a while, works well with curved monitors

Maybe try using a different webcam? If you are on laptop and using an external monitor, the "integrated camera" will just be completely dark from looking straight down. Try and get something like the EMEET C960. Hope this helps! :D

cheese is pre installed on fedora and works fine for basic webcam stuff, or you can try kamoso if you want more features. if youre looking for better quality anyway the emeet c960 is like 60 bucks and plug n play on linux, works out of box with fedora
