Anycubics are a larger gamble in terms of QC than Elegoo. A lot of M7s come with concave plates. On top of that, Anycubics can't use per layer wait times, so they have even more trouble with adhesion than other auto-leveling printers, especially with low cure depth resins (light colored/high detail)

Elegoo Saturn 4 is the best starter machine out there right now, if you want to keep it as cheap as possible you might be able to find a Saturn 3 ultra somewhere, they are also great starter machines with solid quality.

Started with the Mars 2, Mars 4 and then Saturn 3 ultra ( which was the only one that didn't work right out of the box, but Elegoo fixed it ) and now a Saturn 4 Ultra. For your first printer, look at the Elegoo Saturn 3/3 Ultra. Excellent price point, and you will learn the basics quickly.

All my Elegoo printers have been great, a Mars 4DLP, 3 Saturn 3 Ultra, 3 Saturn 4 ultra and last night I ordered a Jupiter 2 for the size increase. Never had any problems with them, yeah there’s regular maintenance, the LCD and FEP are consumables.
