Damnit, too expensive!

10 days ago you wrote "Does anyone have experience with both the SV08Max and the Elegoo Neptune 4 Max? I've got a ton of money and time getting the Neptune printing reliably", did you just purchase both, and is your MK4S/MMU3 reliable? It is expensive. Since you think it is too expensive, we won't b

SV08Max vs Neptune 4 Max?

I have experience with both, the SV08Max is significantly better but still nowhere close to bambu reliability. My Neptune 4 Max sits in a trash pile because the heated bed died.

I’m ripping my hair out

After getting started with a used, perfectly tuned Prusa Mk3s+, then getting 2x Centauri Carbons, then a Neptune 4 Max… the Neptune is a shit printer to get started with, but great way to learn. Took me two weeks of constant tinkering to get mine to print reliably.

Print head making awful grinding noise when accelerating

The Max are pretty rough, I’ve tested like 4 of them. The smaller ones may be ok but you might need to tinker with it. I’m currently using the Neptune 4 Max (ELEGOO replace my N3 max with an n4 max) and there’s like a whole website dedicated to tinkering with it out of the box (neptune4.help) I’ve a

It may be kinda slow, but man is it cool watching it make two pieces at once!

I use vision minner nano polymer. Goes on like water and drugs instantly leaves no mark on your print and where you put it off your printing pla you can print there a crap load of times without reapplying. When you print huge crap on sv08 max and Neptune 4 max the second one do not buy the Neptune s

Tricks for printing in parts

This! Not sure why so many people do prints with straight lines across large curved surfaces. There will always be plastic shrinkage, and I know my printer shakes itself out of level every print (Neptune 4 max). Plan for it to not line up and hide the seams.

Bambu Lab 3D printers: Never again - Jeff Geerling

For me the p2s printers are hella better than my Neptune 4 Max or pro. I've got 5 of them with AMS Pro 2 and cords for each. I still prefer my 3 pro over the newer Neptune's but it doesn't compare to the Bambu's. I have nothing but problems printing anything on both of the N4s and they constantly br

Elegoo Centuari Carbon or Elegoo Neptune 4 Max

All printers require some initial assembly and setup. The issue with the Neptune series is that they are antiquated. You have to manually calibrate several settings (many of which change if you move the machine, switch build plates, switch filaments, etc.) that are automatically calibrated on the CC

SV08 Max questions

I've got a Neptune 4 max that I bought and elegoo never got to work right. It's not collecting dust and was replaced by my Max.

1st Epic game ever-Coop vs Nids

95% of them yes. Of the 288 tiles about 24 of them are printed in Elegoo PETG Plus from an FDM printer. The other 244 are all in Elegoo ABS 3.0 Grey resin. I have a saturn 4 ultra 16k and could run off a batch of 7 tiles in about 5 hours. The FDM printer I could do about 20 at a time with the neptun
