Damnit, too expensive!

10 days ago you wrote "Does anyone have experience with both the SV08Max and the Elegoo Neptune 4 Max? I've got a ton of money and time getting the Neptune printing reliably", did you just purchase both, and is your MK4S/MMU3 reliable? It is expensive. Since you think it is too expensive, we won't b

I’m ripping my hair out

After getting started with a used, perfectly tuned Prusa Mk3s+, then getting 2x Centauri Carbons, then a Neptune 4 Max… the Neptune is a shit printer to get started with, but great way to learn. Took me two weeks of constant tinkering to get mine to print reliably.

Print head making awful grinding noise when accelerating

The Max are pretty rough, I’ve tested like 4 of them. The smaller ones may be ok but you might need to tinker with it. I’m currently using the Neptune 4 Max (ELEGOO replace my N3 max with an n4 max) and there’s like a whole website dedicated to tinkering with it out of the box (neptune4.help) I’ve a

It may be kinda slow, but man is it cool watching it make two pieces at once!

I use vision minner nano polymer. Goes on like water and drugs instantly leaves no mark on your print and where you put it off your printing pla you can print there a crap load of times without reapplying. When you print huge crap on sv08 max and Neptune 4 max the second one do not buy the Neptune s

Neptune 4 MAX Type-C revision - Multiple issues (firmware 1.4.1.2)

Thank you for the suggestion! 🙏 I totally agree – it really feels like this Type-C revision shipped with the wrong firmware or some old launch bugs that were supposed to be fixed long ago. To be honest, I am completely satisfied with my older Neptune 4 MAX printers (ribbon cable version). They have

Why is my printer suddenly trippin?

Ive been a Bambu user for like 3 years now, but just got the Neptune 4 max, and holy shit is the learning curve steep in comparison. Klipper, orca, the printer ui, console commands... It's a whole new world of head scratching.

Looking for a 300x300 bed or superior printer

Anycubic Kobra 3 max, it’s basically a giant A1. You will find some complaints about them online but I’ve had mine for two years and zero problems. I also have several Elegoo Neptune 4 max printers, which are more similar to the Ender, and they work well but require constant fine tuning. Good if you

Anycubic Kobra 3 Max vs Elegoo Neptune 4 Max

I have multiple of both, lots of hours on each. It's not even a contest, go with Anycubic Kobra Max. Here are the differences: * Auto-leveling and setting of z-offset!! Take a spin around r/ElegooNeptune4 sub and see all the tears shed by people who never get the settings quite right. Kobra Max will
