Elegoo motherboard scam
I don't know about the 16k, but the S4U I got is still chugging away after many months. My roommate's Centauri Carbon is still performing well, as is his Neptune 3 Pro. I'm not dismissing your issues, but to say that people should avoid Elegoo completely because of a faulty run of motherboards seems

Anything i should know before buying a centauri carbon
I have been VERY satisfied with mine since the day I got it and have nothing bad to say about it. It's not multicolor (yet) but that was never the reason I got it. It's become my "fire and forget" system (and I still have and Ender 3 S1 and an Elegoo Neptune 3 Max.

I got bought this printer for $100 and the X axis belt got shredded
If you or someone you know has another printer, you can print a replacement from here: https://www.printables.com/model/550095-elegoo-neptune-3-pro-belt-tensioner-for-toothed-id/files I don't think the default position of the model is ideal tho, I rotated it 90 degrees so the layer lines are paralle
