What’s your go-to resin printer in 2025, and why?

Currently have 12 resin printers running Elegoo Mars 5 ultra and Saturn 4 ultra are the 2 newest I have and work great.

What 3D printers would you guys recommend?

I still use an old Elegoo Mars Pro but you probably want to look at either their newer models (Mars 5 I believe) or their Saturn if you want to do larger prints. For FDM the Bambulab A1 seems to be pretty popular right now.

Elegoo mars 5 for all but the 2 purchased ones! Base settings, prepped in chitubox, light autosupports.

Beginner getting into 3D printing – is a used Formlabs Form 2 for $200 worth it?

For filament printers you can also check out the Anycubic Kobra 3 v2 combo. 4 color printing, and active drying. It's about $330 U.S. right now. Print quality, speed and bed size are all comparable to the Bambu A1. For resin, you can buy a brand new Elegoo Mars 5 for under $200! Just don't forget th

Printing minis? (GW HERESY)

Do you mean recommendations for a printer? If so, I love my Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra, it’s like US$270ish on their website. But I use it on top of buying official stuff too…. Supporting GW while still supplementing my minis.

3d printer options

Agreed. If you can swing the P1S, get that instead of the A1, but Bambu is the way to go for people who want 3D printing as a means to an end for some other hobby rather than 3D printing being the hobby (both are great options, it just sounds like you're after the former rather than the later). Elegoo Mars 4 9k or Mars 5?

Having used both (since my Mars 4 died and I replaced it with the Mars 5 Ultra), I would recommend the 5 over the 4. I love how the 5 autolevels and can detect the amount of resin in the vat. Leveling with the 4 always made me nervous that I'd crack the screen or not get it low enough and ruin my pr

Anycubic M7 or Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra?

Anycubics are a larger gamble in terms of QC than Elegoo. A lot of M7s come with concave plates. On top of that, Anycubics can't use per layer wait times, so they have even more trouble with adhesion than other auto-leveling printers, especially with low cure depth resins (light colored/high detail)

3D Printer size

I have a Mars 5 Ultra, and the vast majority of the terrain does not work on my printer without heavy subdividing. I think I managed to get one piece of the Legion terrain printed without additional manual remodeling into more parts. Get a Saturn if you can: I let the dev team know but I don't think
