I recommend the mars 4 ultra, but to change the fep for the mars 4 non ultra out of the box. The mars 4 ultra comes with ACF film which is cloudy and can reduce print sharpness. TL;DR not worth it if “upgrading” from the Mars 3-4. Honestly, if Elegoo still made parts for the Mars 3, I wouldn’t have switched. But you’re forced to buy a new machine since they don’t sell replacement parts anymore. Mars 5 Ultra is just a Mars 3 with gimmicks that don’t do as advertised. Camera

I ended up getting the mars 5, not because it’s cheaper but because it takes less space and regarding leveling, the big mistake Elegoo and some other brands did was calling it auto leveling, it was never auto leveling just a bunch of springs. Buy new in box so you have a warranty in case there’s an actual parts issue. Otherwise it’s just a bit of a learning curve! Saying this as someone with a lemon of a Mars 5 Ultra, I regret buying used but my last Elegoo printer was incredible.
