Replacing FEP with ACF
ACF has it's downsides, namely causing fine vertical lines on smooth surfaces. There was such a backlash against it, Elegoo stopped using ACF on new printers. No Mars 5 or Saturn 4 model uses ACF. nFEP/PFA however is a straight upgrade from FEP, and is cheaper than ACF. And yes, it uses the same ten

Build plate comes up with NOTHING?
I have the same Mars 5 Ultra, and on my first print, I got exactly this! no adhesion. I found these settings on reddit and they worked fantastic. It's been printing fine since I changed the values in RED. Detailed info: -Mars 5 Ultra -8K Washable Resin -Slicer software is ELEGOO SatelLite (came on t

Saturn 4 Ultra Issues
Temperature of the resin, level build plate, and exposure level of the bottom layers. The temperate isn't a suggestion; it should be 25C or above. That's resin temperature, not air temperature! I set my heater to 30C and let it run for at least 30-45 minutes before printing without opening the cover

What eldritch horror did I just print?
I actually used it for years and now the only thing I did was turning the high definition AA off. AA - constrast blur never did that to me. I use an elegoo mars 5 ultra. Could the hd AA off be for something?

Best 3d printers for warhammer
No, it isn’t. Sorry, but FDM printer don’t hold a candle to train when it comes to printing minis. Depending on how much you want to spend, I’d check out the Elegoo line. The Mars 5 Ultra is a good beginner/intermediate printer. It has plenty of print volume and the “self leveling” system is pretty

Print failure question
I had exactly this problem. If the rafts aren't printing, it might be a levelling problem. Try the levelling function from the accessibility menu. See if there is a significant difference in the movement of the four pieces of paper. There was for me - the paper moved freely for the 2 at the back whe

Test print went horrible
I had similar issues when i first started using my Mars 5 Ultra. I had just come from a FDM printer and was annoyed that things didnt work off the bat. It didn't help that i picked the absolute worst and pickiest resin to print with (Siraya Tech True Blue Cast). I then swapped that out for some eleg

how reputable are elegoo printers?
All I can say is that the Mars 5 Ultra I owned was pretty great. I didn't own it long enough to every have occasion to do much maintenance like replacing the film, screen or anything, but it printed great. The only ding I would give it is the poorly thought-out design of the build plate with the sev

Lapping ?
Using default or Elegoo database numbers for exposure will generally be acceptable but leaning overexposed settings to increase print success. Resin naturally morphologically closes concavities due to light bleed and much of the hand tuning of resin calibration is about dialing the exposure as low a
