Best 3d printers for warhammer

No, it isn’t. Sorry, but FDM printer don’t hold a candle to train when it comes to printing minis. Depending on how much you want to spend, I’d check out the Elegoo line. The Mars 5 Ultra is a good beginner/intermediate printer. It has plenty of print volume and the “self leveling” system is pretty

3D Printer

If you want high detail parts, you'll pretty much have to go resin. The resin itself is toxic and has carcinogenic fumes. You absolutely need good ventilation to run it. I run my resin printer in my basement in an enclosure and vent it out the well through the window. The important thing is that the

I need your help with choosing

Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra is awesome for figurines. The build volume is a bit small though but it's pretty budget friendly. Just make sure you have a ventilated area for printing and cleaning though. As for which resin to use, try a few different brands and types. Rigid stuff like ABS-like are not great f

3D Printer size

I have a Mars 5 Ultra, and the vast majority of the terrain does not work on my printer without heavy subdividing. I think I managed to get one piece of the Legion terrain printed without additional manual remodeling into more parts. Get a Saturn if you can: I let the dev team know but I don't think

Just got a 3d resin printer for Christmas but i dont have any 100% safe space to put it (need advice)

Do not put it in a space you will sleep! In a smaller space you will have to clean and pack up when not in use. No leaving resin in the vat for a while. Get a fan or two, you want positive pressure to outside to remove the VoC's. A grow tent with some fans and a vent will do for most small printers

Printer with the most automatic and QOL features out there?

pretty much exact same. no prior 3D printing exp. bought mars 5 ultra. downloaded the elegoo abs 3 settings. ran the cones of calibration. tiny bit of tweaking. no issues since. maaaybe 2-3 print fails but that was mainly first couple of prints when i was using pre-supported files. and it was just a

Vale a pena comprar uma Mars 5 Ultra?

My 2P went belly up last year , looked around for a new printer and ended up with the Mars 5 standard model , I didn't like the idea of the tilting vat on the Ultra . Don' really have the room for a larger model either . It's a great printer , so much easier to use than the 2P , use it for 15mm mini

Dragons Rest board

Do you mind sharing which version of the Elegoo Saturn? I am using an Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra and while I enjoy the detail the print size is limiting.

Looking for advice on getting into resin printing

So, after nearly a year with resin printing I wouldn't want to miss it (since I use it partially for my fledgling side hussle), but it has a really steap learning curve and costs you money, time, and nerves. I started with an Anycubic Mono X2, until I got fed up with their proprietary slicer, sold t

How is the new Elegoo Saturn?

12k has fully functional anti-aliasing, 16k has the heated vat, otherwise they are basically feature for feature and the build volumes are millimeters in difference. Feature-wise the 12k is an excellent match for the Mars 5 Ultra, except the latter has a smaller build volume and the cover has to be
