Recommendation for a new mesh WiFi 7 system?
So here's my situation, and I would love some suggestions of perhaps setups I'm not thinking of.
House is about 4200 square feet across three levels. For the past five years, I've used an Orbi RBK753 system to cover the house with the main router in my office (center of the house, middle floor) and

Nobody:
Trying to figure this out currently. I’ve read a lot of posts. I’m on Frontier Fiber, 1g, ps5 plugged into my eero pro 7 router. Only thing I can’t do is designate the portal to 5GHz, router doesn’t allow for that. But fuck it sucks when it lags.

Can someone recommend a smart outlet that actually works? Meross is hot garbage, never buy their products
I have spent so much time trying to get Meross outlets to connect to HomeKit (via eero pro 7), and literally nothing works. I have tried every variant of toggling 2.4ghz on and off, resetting phone, outlet, router, AppleTV, disabling every possible WiFi privacy setting, etc and nothing works. Meross

Any good experiences with Orbi WiFi 7 mesh systems?
My RBK753 is showing its age (it's 5 1/2 years old) with random reboots and dropouts, and I'm looking to replace it. Seems like most of the posts here about the 770, 870 and 970 systems are complaints and heavily negative, and I'm wondering if anyone's had any *good* experiences with these models t

2gb fiber upgrade
The short answer is yes. It is enterprise grade hardware that will outperform Eero in pretty much all cases. Being an American brand, UniFi does come at a premium though (compared to Omada) and requires you to buy into the ecosystem a little bit more than Omada. If I were to build you a budget UniFi

Good option for small home wireless router?
2 pack of Eero Pro6Es is really the only thing that fits your bill. There likely is a sale coming up Based on the limited information, you likely need two. Getting a second more central to your house will improve performance immensely: https://support.eero.com/hc/en-us/articles/207897393-Where-shoul

Upgrading to eero pro 7 for 2gig service, still get bad lag. Enabled SQM..
Upgraded from 1 gig to 2 gig and am experiencing lag with new eero pro 7, the ont is in the garage and is connected to a moca adapter which is then connected to the eero in the garage. I’m forced to place the eero in the kitchen regardless as much as I would prefer it to be in the bedroom. Did a buf

Need a confidence booster before a Ubiquiti upgrade
You should stick with all Unifi devices: UCG Fiber, Pro Max 16 PoE, and the U7 Pro XG - add extra access points if your home is large. You can then control everything from the same controller. No reason to add Eero to the mix.

Frontier or Surf Internet
I have frontier. Service seems to go down much more often compared to my parents and sibling who both have Surf. I also referred a coworker, and it took them like 6 months to get his service installed. I was rejected the referral bonus since it took so long (I need to fight this one, just haven't bo

Can the H6008 bulbs be controlled with Bluetooth only
Yes you can control them with Bluetooth. My bulbs are refusing to connect properly to my eero pro 7s. So I am forced to use the Bluetooth. I just miss Alexa being able to control the bulbs. I'm hoping eero gets their shit together and fixes the issues but who knows.
