TZ270W home network, wifi extender?
You can do an access point but you may as well go for something like a UniFi access point. It's one of the best WiFi products out there and the Web interface is easy to manage. When I have these problems I just create a separate 2.4 GHz network for these devices - although I must admit newer devices

Is it just me, or does HomePod Mini + Airplay really sucks?
Buy eero Pro 6E used look on facebook marketplace for example. Ask the seller directly “is this a vanilla eero sourced from Amazon or is it a branded model from Frontier or some other ISP?” If it’s vanilla save your money buy it and use it. Eero is expandable and you will find many problems disappea

Eero 7
I have 3 x Eero Pro 6e and 1 x Eero 6+. The router can manage 1400 Mbps on wifi to a compatible device, but drops to 300 Mbps if I'm at the far end of the Mesh. The Eero 6+ and Eero 7 are dual band routers 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. It's better if you can get the Pro model as they are Tri band and have a 6

Approved list of 3rd party routers
Eero 6E Pro. You can get a brand new one for £99 on eBay. Get more than one if you want to extend the range and use the mesh facility.

Thoughts on TV + Internet?
I bought my own eeros. I bought a 3-pack of the 6E Pros. One on main floor, one upstairs where bedrooms are and one in the basement. I took the eero 6 given to me and use it in the backyard in my poolhouse. My wifi is strong everywhere, no dead spots or dropped wifi. I like the eeros. They are like

Done with TP-Link
I switched from TP cuz every time Internet went out, it would take hours of not a day to reconnect the tp mesh system back online. Switched to eero pro 6e. Never had a problem again been going a year and various outages and they always reconnect without issue. My devices easily jump from one router

Who's the best full fibre up to 1Gb for home use
I have 1Gb service from Plusnet, started at £29.99 … replaced the router with a couple of Eero Pro 6E (second hand from CEX about £70 each)… same basic service as BT/EE but without the bill shocks and with great customer service; I recommend. The Eeros get me 900Mb plus even 2 floors away.

G5AR and Eero Max 7 Setup
Download the Hint app on your phone from the app store, log into your router with it and you can turn off the G5Ar wifi radios. I have mine hooked up to an Eero 6E pro and it's working beautifully!
