Audiophile here. Do not get gaming speakers. Check my last post of my setup. Those are Edifier 1280TS, a hair better than the MR4, but you can hook a sub to it and blow anything that cost less than $1k out of the water.

Sound to complement my frame TV
I bought the Edifier mr4's for my mums Frame and while I wish they were a bit more powerful and accommodated a sub for $150 it would be a challenge to beat their neutral sound quality and decent stereo field, they certainly blow away any sound bar.
