Especially now there are a lot of high quality compact speakers options for the desk, iloud, Adam DV3, or even the Edifier M60. It's like this generation don't enjoy listening from speakers.

I have edified m60 speakers and they are incredible. For headset I use Astro a50 gen5 and they are just outstanding and very comfy

nice set up. i got the m60 in white too when i did a tech overhaul/upgrade for my mother when i saw she was using a junk laptop at her house and no speakers. matches her mac mini m4 and white dell monitor theme. they sound pretty nice when angled at your head properly. feel people give edifier too m

Recently bought the Edifier M60 and couldn't be happier! I didn't want a subwoofer since it was very annoying underneath my desk. Great sound! Not an audiophile but does what it needs to.

I got the Edifier M60's a couple of months ago and I am really happy with the sound they produce coupled with the small form factor. Needed to tweak a bit in the EQ to get them precisely to my liking though.

Those are good budget speakers, but if you have some extra cash to spend, I would highly recommend the Edifier M60.
