Assisted belay device

Edelrid's Jul family is The Way. Jul 2 is single strand, and shares geometry with the dual strand Mega Jul. These tend to give the best lockup with most ropes, but it depends a lot on the carabiner, too. Skinnier biner stock tends to lock up tighter, but I get good results with an Edelrid Bulletproo

Gyms Worldwide Increasingly Ban Tube-Style Belay Devices in Favor of ABDs

I also don't know of any ABDs which can feed 2 strands, would be sincerely curious if you could name any. The Edelrid mega jul and giga jul do everything a regular tube does, and they're also assisted.

What would be the perfect belay device for you?

Edelrid recently updated their Mega Jul. I'd love to try it out, but since I have a Giga Jul (which is shit if you don't use the exact right rope) and a Grigri (I don't like it, but it's workable), I don't actually need a new device.
