I like the Edelrid Giga Jul for trad climbing. Auto braking and still usable as a tuber and double rope rappel.

Most versatile is definitely the edelrid giga jul. unfortunately, the edelrid giga jul is quite terrible with rope diameters above about 9.7 mm except for rappelling. my favorite way to rappel is actually with the edelrid giga jul in assisted mode. Skip Petzl’s products. Better camming products exist (Trango Vergo or Edelrid Pinch), so there’s no reason to consider a grigri family.
