Deebot N8 Pro

Following this because I’ll be updating this year from an Ecovacs N8 Pro. I will never buy another Ecovacs.

In my research it's not exclusive to any one brand. My old ecovacs n8 has the same issue. I usually get around it by moving the robovac to a different area and then it eventually recognises where it is. I had a great customer support in Denmark for my Ecovacs Deebot OZMO N8+. Use the drop in service and was returned within a week. It was with the 2 year guarantee period.

I will only buy robo Vacs that come with all state two years warranty. Every single one of these robots are owned by Chinese companies that will never honor their warranty if something goes wrong. I have another ecovacs n8+ which doesn't make as much noise as this one. It would be a good idea to see how this measures on db meter. I have only run this on vac+mop ever.

Generally, I don't recommend Ecovacs anymore. The hardware and ideas are great but the software is just... bad. I have an x2, and when it does clean, it cleans well but 80% of the time it'll suck something in, trap itself or just completely ignore some parts of the map. Even the Ecovacs n8 was wayy

Same issue on two ecovacs deebot N8+. As mentioned, there is no real solution except to delete map and remap or pick it up, dock it, and restart vacuuming to reset the new overlay. It’s annoying - yes.

I’ve had my N8 Pro+ for just over 4 years now. It’s relegated to 2nd floor duties now that I have the X9, but it still works great and has enough battery life to vacuum the entire floor(~1100 sq ft). YMMV of course, but I’ve been happy with both of my Ecovac machines.
