Deebot N8 Pro

Following this because I’ll be updating this year from an Ecovacs N8 Pro. I will never buy another Ecovacs.

I have Ecovacs N8 plus (aging, about to retire), N30 and X8 in two floors. Pretty happy with product and support network in Kochi. Their customer care is quick, whatsapp responses immediately and resolution are within a day itself. And they are served by Frootle, which got a shop+service center in K

I have another ecovacs n8+ which doesn't make as much noise as this one. It would be a good idea to see how this measures on db meter. I have only run this on vac+mop ever.

In my research it's not exclusive to any one brand. My old ecovacs n8 has the same issue. I usually get around it by moving the robovac to a different area and then it eventually recognises where it is. Sometimes I have to repeat the process requiring me to delete the new temporary map it was buildi

I’ve had my N8 Pro+ for just over 4 years now. It’s relegated to 2nd floor duties now that I have the X9, but it still works great and has enough battery life to vacuum the entire floor(~1100 sq ft). YMMV of course, but I’ve been happy with both of my Ecovac machines.

Linnas on meil nii lahendatud, et ad hoc/spot cleaningu jaoks on Dyson V8. Ja iga õhtu käib põranda üle Deebot N8 Pro. Üldiselt töötab okeilt. Et käsitsi tervet põrandat regulaarselt puhastada ei viitsi, samas teinekord on vaja mingit väiksemat jama likvideerida. Maal on Kärcher WD3, heavy duty jne.

Ik heb de ecovacs n8+, deze deed het 2 jaar super, tot ook dat tandwiel stuk ging. Ik heb een nieuwe ge 3d-print, omdat er geen garantie was en ik geen reserve onderdelen kon vinden. Nu is het tandwiel aan de andere kant ook stuk, en werkt de lidar sensor niet goed meer (robot is constant verdwaald)

I pulled the trigger over the weekend and mine arrived yesterday. Replaces a 4-year old Deebot N8 Pro+ that itself replaced an 18-month old Roomba i7+. First impressions are very positive. That's bs. My budget old ass ecovac N8+ would leave my carpets and rugs spotless. This is an issue with dreame.

Generally, I don't recommend Ecovacs anymore. The hardware and ideas are great but the software is just... bad. I have an x2, and when it does clean, it cleans well but 80% of the time it'll suck something in, trap itself or just completely ignore some parts of the map. Even the Ecovacs n8 was wayy
