Is it normal that my Mackie MR624's sound "better" than a Neumann KH120 II?
When I was studio monitoring shopping I looked at the Neumanns and hated how they sounded. Same what Dynaudio LYD48. PMC wasn't bad but sounded like it was scooped/notched. Ended up on Focal Solo 6 BE. I chose them because not because of accuracy - they weren't and I noted flaws like slower bass res

FootPrint03+CLA-10 =Overkill?
I’m surprised you consider the Barefoot Footprint03 a substantial upgrade to the Dynaudio LYD48. Sure, the build quality is better, but they are also smaller and don’t play as low.
