Which studio monitors pair best with the RME Babyface Pro FS for House music production and DJing? Looking for warm, punchy low-end instead of an overly clinical sound.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective and specific monitor recommendations! You make some great points about measurements, but for me, the transition from the MOTU to the RME felt more about a change in transient response and stereo imag

Are vintage NS-10s becoming a case of diminishing returns in 2026?

There is a difference with speaker design and EQ. The NS-10's and auratones are closed back speakers. Makes them really TIGHT in the transient response but no real lowend. Studio monitor rec

Dynaudio BM5a or Lyd series. Sounds great, more bass than you might expect, but not floppy or distorted bass.

Quality Desktop Speakers for Gaming / Movies.

i would mostly look at nearfield studio monitors. what you get will depend on your budget. a good all rounder that can be gotten cheap are some used Dynaudio BM5A's. iLoud MTM's are also great for their size and inexpensive. i'd also look at Kali. looking for better ? Consider the Genelec 8351.
