If you’re coming from A40s and mainly gaming for long hours, I’d recommend the Drop + EPOS / Sennheiser PC38X. It’s usually around $139–$169 and is widely recommended for PC gaming because of its great sound quality, comfort, and durability. The open-back design gives you a wider soundstage, which h

Drop headphones if you have a quiet house. They're open backed, so better sound stage, but they don't block out outside noise. https://www.amazon.com/DROP-PC38X-Gaming-Headset-Noise-Cancelling/dp/B0FDH3NK2L/143-1543027-7467226 If you want the best setup possible, IEM's with a standalone mic like a B

I really like the PC38X from Drop.com (EPOS/Sennheiser Gaming collab). Currently $149 USD. Good sound stage, wired, open back over-ear so you can hear when someone wants your attention at home. Easy volume control, built in boom mic. Lightweight enough and breathable for longer gaming sessions.

I replied to your OP but in case you don’t see it, I 10/10 would recommend PC38X wired headset from Drop. Super comfortable, accurate sound for gaming, nice soundstage for music, and no latency. It has more bass than other gaming headsets but is still very spatially accurate.

For $100–150, the Drop + EPOS / Sennheiser PC38X is a top pick if you want wired, no ANC, comfort, and excellent sound. If you don’t need a mic, Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro (80Ω) is a classic for comfort and audio quality, while the Sennheiser HD560S is great if you prefer open-back sound and a wider so

If you want something genuinely high quality for PC and Xbox, check out the Drop and EPOS / Sennheiser PC38X. The sound quality is way better than most typical gaming headsets, the mic is clear for Discord, and it’s super comfortable for long sessions. Fwiw my mate and I both use the PC38X after see

I tried atleast 3 headsets and just could not get them comfortable for gaming over an hour or so. Razor BlackShark, Razor Kraken and Drop PC38x. I now need to use reading glasses for work and gaming and I think that is the major issue. I switched to IEMs and can play for hours without issue. I did a

So, EPOS exited gaming in ‘24. The H6Pro was decent, and is kind of a spiritual successor, but they’re randomly priced new/open/used on the secondary market. I liked the closed back version for playing Xbox in my living room with others around, but once I moved it into my office and went open back I

If you can stretch a bit, the Drop + EPOS / Sennheiser PC38X is a really solid pick. Great sound, super comfortable for long use, and the mic quality is way better than most “budget” headsets, so it’s perfect for just chatting without issues. fwiw my mate and i used Redditrecs to see what people act
