Man I remember when $100-150 was "too cheap" and I got clowned on for buying a Drop ALT cause I found it second hand for half the sticker price and I was a broke kid. Granted, it was a pretty terrible board, but I'm glad you can some budget bangers from Keychron and other highly competitive brands.

Yeah my normal Drop Alt lasted about that long before the PCB started creating double-taps everywhere. Could never get a replacement PCB for it. Is a shame, because I have the Laser version which is an awesome colour, paired super well with Milkshake caps IMO

I use 60% kb (drop alt v2) cos it's pretty and I got a big ass glass mousepad. It does have arrow keys. I also use a tourbox elite gizmo, mainly on edit n cut page. I haven't finished the proper setup for the colour page.

My Drop Alt High Profile was $250 and it's only 65 keys. Nice keyboards are expensive. It's this a nice keyboard?

I plugged in my melgeek made 68 ultra keyboard and it didn’t work, I tried a GMMK Glorious Keyboard, didn’t work, a Drop Alt keyboard, didn’t work, but then I plugged in a keychron q1 pro and that worked fine. The other issue I had was using my g502 Plus Lightspeed mouse in wireless mode. It works b

Spilled small amount of beer in my KB and now the number keys are registering as commands. 8 is expanding and minimizing windows. Esc just gets me apostraphes. I took it apart last night and cleaned the board with 70% isopropyl and Q Tips and nothing. Is it time to get something new? I was thinking

That middle, the 65% form factor, has been the sweet spot for me. I’ve had a Drop Alt v1 for years now, using TTC silent bluish whites. The drop is discontinued, but I’d make a few recommendations: - get something hotswappable. Most every nice keyboard is these days, so that’s not hard.- go heavy. L

I think this one came with a Drop Alt I got forever ago! Still going strong though, I like how flexible it is.

My Drop Alt High Profile is aging like shit. The main board has double click on my WASD keys. It was used for Val for about 18 months. Unacceptable. New switches and updated firmware ofc
