L40s Ultra AE

I have a Dreame L40s Pro Ultra. The first 6 months were great. Other than filling/emptying tanks and bags, washing mop pags etc, it just did its thing and cleaned daily. The object avoidance was quite good and it rarely got stuck. But then it stopped being able to mop. I reached out to Dreame AU sup

For oiled wood, run the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 on the lowest water setting or just vacuum only. Honestly, most people with oiled wood end up using the robot mainly for vacuuming and doing occasional manual mopping with their proper cleaner. It’s just not a great match for that floor type long term.

I believe the L40s Ultra AE has a smaller battery and slightly less downward pressure when mopping? What do we know is different, the AE removes the Voice Assistant (ok Dreame) and the obstacle Avoidance may be slightly better. Other than that it looks roughly similar

I had a L40S Pro Ultra and it was really good for about 5 months. Then sudently it started going crazy, releasing the mop and telling to manually install them, one mop was lower then the other, it took a lot of time to know where it was and to return to base...etc... Thanks for the review! I returned my Dreame L40s Pro Ultra because I had a lot of problems with it. On my matte tiles, it left a sort of residue/greasy layer, and there were also streaks that I just couldn’t get rid of. I’m still emailing with customer service, but so far I haven’t found a solution.

I like the auto brush lifting and a camera. Would be great if it had also the Auto mop detaching, but I see none of these models have it. Dreame, for example, has all these features in their L40S Pro Ultra, however it buying it leaves a bad aftertaste, because so far I've been very satisfied with Ro
