should I get a dreame or roborock - ecovacs disapointed me hard

I have a Dreame L40s Pro Ultra. The first 6 months were great. Other than filling/emptying tanks and bags, washing mop pags etc, it just did its thing and cleaned daily. The object avoidance was quite good and it rarely got stuck. But then it stopped being able to mop. I reached out to Dreame AU sup

L40s Pro Ultra vs L50 Ultra CE

My L40s Pro Ultra lasted under 3 days. It had an apparent motherboard failure (from researching online). Dreame support was not a dream, more like a nightmare. Sent it back to retailer, got my money back, eventually. I have a two story house, all porcelain wood effect tile downstairs with some relat

X60 Max Ultra might be the best flagship Dreame has ever launched

Unless someone needs a very specific thing, like going up an obstacle or being thin to go under a furniture, basically every robovac acts almost the same.Dreame robovacs arent hold back by hardware, dreame needs to improve only 2 things: 1. software 2. reliability.I also personally think it is ludic

Mopping question?

For oiled wood, run the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 on the lowest water setting or just vacuum only. Honestly, most people with oiled wood end up using the robot mainly for vacuuming and doing occasional manual mopping with their proper cleaner. It’s just not a great match for that floor type long term.

Ecolab no rinse neutral floor cleaner in solution tank?

Ecolab no-rinse neutral is a great floor cleaner for manual mopping and auto scrubbers, but robot vacs are a different beast. Even low-foam, neutral-pH cleaners aren’t officially approved for the solution tank on the L40s Ultra AE, and Dreame will absolutely point to that if there’s ever a clog, pum

Washing mops after just vacuuming

Yeah for some stupid reason it doesn't. I have no idea what Dreame was thinking with the 3 new L40s robot models as they all seem to be worse than the L40 Ultra in many ways. Mop pad detach & attach + side brush extend far outweigh a little bit of increased suction the AE has in my opinion.

L40 Ultra AE Mopping noise level

Why are people buying the L40 Ultra AE? The L40 Ultra has quite a few better features like mop pad detach/attach & side brush extend and at a much lower price as well. A little bit of extra suction power (which you wont even notice) doesn't justify the extra cost and loss of good features. So I'm ge
