I adopted a Dreame l40 ultra gen 2 a few months ago and it's the best thing that happened to my life. (My first robotic mop/vac) You truly cannot put a price on peace of mind and convenience. Enjoy! 😊

The Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 actually has the stronger suction at 25,000 Pa, while the L50 Ultra has 19,500 Pa. That said, the difference in real-world performance comes down to design focus: L40 Ultra Gen 2 (25,000 Pa): Higher raw suction power for deeper carpet extraction and stronger pickup of embe

It cleans better, is way better at obstacles, way longer runtime, etc. I recently got the refurb L40 on Dream's eBay shop for $250 US, hard to beat that. For oiled wood, run the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 on the lowest water setting or just vacuum only. Honestly, most people with oiled wood end up using the robot mainly for vacuuming and doing occasional manual mopping with their proper cleaner. It’s just not a great match for that floor type long term.
