Oh my dear thresher !!

This is awesome...honestly, I’m even more impressed by the image quality. what setup are you using with the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro? Are you using any additional gear (filters, lighting, mounts, etc.), or is it just the camera? Also curious if you’re doing any post-processing what editing tools or set

Dji Action5 pro photo quality

No. It won't change anything. The only thing the OA6 has to offer it the square sensor. The rest (fixed focus, ultra wide, cooked RAW) stays the same and there is no improvement in image quality. I had the OA4,5,6 and Ace Pro 2 here around Christmas and did my own tests after watching a lot of YT vi

"Dash" Cam Recommendations

I tried several cams including Drift Ghost XL, Drift Ghost 4K, and a cheap Akaso 4K action camera. None of them could reliably show a license plate at a reasonable distance. "4K" is almost meaningless I've found... just because it'll output that many pixels doesn't mean they have worthwhile informat

Should I wait?

I would say IF you can wait until the Osmo Action 6 gets a release date (I say this only because the new camera teaser shows a physical aperture which isn't common to an action camera that gets banged around) and reviews then wait! I think it's going to be an absolute slayer of a camera. If you can'

DJI osmo action 5 pro vs Insta 360 Ace pro 2?

I don't do extreme sports and I don't use the camera to film sports. I only make family videos now. I consider myself a professional amateur, but I don't fit into your target. But I'm replying to try to help you. I'm looking for image quality. I shoot with a Canon Legria GX10 camera which does not h

There will be a lot of disappointment if people believe in the overhype…

the night footage is doing the same things as the DJI Action 5 Pro... darker, noisier, greener, more jittery but preserving more detail. The Insta360 night mode (on both the X5 and Ace Pro 2) chooses to make the image more bright, better color accuracy, and less jitter but with far more noise reduct

best action camcorder for beginner who wants stable footage while moving?

Depends on what you want to film and the conditions. Personally I’d say GoPro 11, 12 or 13. I have the 11 and never upgraded since I’m happy with it and the upgrades haven’t been enough for me to get a 12/13. I have a DJI Action 5 Pro and…..I freaking hate it. The white balance is off and everything

Best Action Camera For my Scenario

Since you’re climbing and hiking, weight and one-handed use will be a huge factor for you! And since the photography of the Ace isn’t doing it for you, try take a look at the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro which has a higher effective photo resolution, is faster to snap a photo and the colors are a bit more

Dji Action 5 pro or Insta360 Ace 2 Pro

You really can't go wrong with either. If you want soemthing with mroe accessories options I'd go ace pro 2. If your after 10bit color and a more professional workflow I'd got Action 5. I've got a review of the Ace Pro 2 here if your interested: https://youtu.be/VhBdgyP2NVI?si=KZNDeDVbiSfeGdWS I'd a

Screenshot comparing image quality X5 to Osmo 360

The D-Log M modes on DJI Action, Pocket, and Drone cameras is VERY powerful in the hands of an experienced color grader with time and tools. It's important reviews consider that but at the same time I think its important to understand that 90%+ of users will NOT color grade and a large percentage of
