is dji osmo 360 that bad?
The problem is not the device itself, but as a “first family product” for DJI, the level of maturity of the whole DJI ecosystem isn’t as accurate as Insta360.In other words: software more limited, accessories not available, less feature. Is this a real problem? It depends on your needs. For instance,

Minor disappointments with Osmo360
I'm also underwhelmed. I saw people's videos on YT and thought this camera would be amazing. But actual 360 videos look incredibly grainy and lacking in detail/resolution, even outdoors in daylight conditions. I've adjusted my settings based on other user's feedback and it helped a little bit, but I

Best Camera for Commuting
I bought a used DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Much cheaper than something like Cycliq. For years I used the Akaso Brave 4, but the DJI has better features, stabilization, low light performance. I ride at night a lot, so this was important for me. I have a friend that uses the Insta 360 X3 which is pretty g

Camera recommendations for college team
I just got an DJI Osmo 360 camera - no need for a camera operator or any reliance on an AI game tracker like in a Veo. $389 with an extra battery and the 'selfie stick' which when paired with a regular tripod, can get you to 10' easily and gives you a fine view of the game. It won't win awards for r

Thinking about selling my X5 for an Osmo 360
My first 360 cam was the Osmo, I purchased and returned around Black Friday last year. Since it was my first 360 cam, I’ll admit it was all new to me. But I have plenty of DJI gear so I know the interface, app, and generally what to expect from DJI products. I just wasn’t impressed by it. The video

DJI Osmo 360 II preorders will start tommorow
But when he said the X6’s image quality (because of I-Log and 10-bit) puts it far beyond what the Osmo 360 offered, my ears pricked up. I had the X5 and the I Log was pure fucking garbage. I think you could only use it to 1080p. It was ungradable. So i switched to DJI Omso 360. But their software is

DJI Osmo 360 II preorders will start tommorow
i tried both, i had an x4 before i bought the osmo 360 and then switched to the x5 because it was on sale on aliexpress. usually i'm more of a dji fan but the x5 quality and features where better(no interval, high noise in shadows, no hdr, no raw images on the osmo 360). wanted to use it for some si

Recommendations for Reliable 180 3D and 360 VR Cameras?
What do you mean by 360 “VR”? Usually that means 360 3D, and the reference on a budget would be an Insta360 Pro2. But if your budget is under the R5C, forget about the Pro2, too. If you meant “flat” 360, no clue. I’d say Insta360 X5 has the better software and manages better the overheat, DJI Osmo t

Insta360 X5 vs. Osmo 360: The one I kept after the honeymoon phase...
I also had both cameras and agree with your assessment but personally chose to keep the Osmo 360. I bought insurance for mine which makes me worry less about the lenses but would still prefer if they were user replaceable. Things I liked about the Insta360: the UI felt more polished/ smooth, the pho

How to go from a clean licence to a possible 6 to 12 points in under a minute.
Thank you. I really hate doing it but i feel it's the right thing to do to keep safe and draw attention ot bad road use. This is Gopro 11, I had 11 front and 8 facing back. It was heavy but good quality. I have now changed to DJI Osmo 360 for full surround view. Quality is still decent.
