Bambino + DF54 - Best bang for my buck first station?
Yep. The DF64 Gen 2 is also amazing after two years of constant use for me. But careful saying that here the Euroids will lose their mind.

Best espresso grinder in the $[500–700] range for medium roast latte drinkers?
ngl i've been down this exact road with medium roast lattes. the niche zero is actually great for milk drinks since you don't need that ultra clarity - it gives you body and sweetness that cuts through milk really well. df64 gen 2 is solid too but you'll want the stock burrs not SSPs for your use ca

Finally pulled the trigger on a proper home setup — but the grinder is giving me headaches
so, my budget solutions with Dedica were: - buy pre-ground coffee that is ok for Dedica's default pressurized (double-wall) basket, but not ok if you want to play with after-market unpressurized basket- buy at a coffee shop where they can grind you with their pro grinder what you want - it requires

Eureka Mignon zero 65AP vs DF54 vs DF64 [€550]
I've had the df64 gen 2 for about a year now. No real issues with it. Overall I'd say it's okay. Doesn't have a premium feel to it, but it costs 360 bucks. I RDT to help with static, but it will still accumulate over time. Retention is not an big issue with the bellows, but it's a crude solution for

Grinder Advice needed [$1000]
The timemore will do just fine and the DF64 gen. 2 is also hugely improved. There aren’t really many quirks left with this one.

DF64V Gen 3 purchase in US
To be honest, for me the biggest reason is aesthetics. DF64v is slimmer and looks better next to my Zerno Z1. The other reason is easier chute cleaning as DF64v has magnetic attached outer chute cover, which makes the maintenance easier and less messy. DF64v gen3 has upgraded motor but I don’t feel

Even this guy can’t stop staring at my new machine. Now looking to upgrade my grinder, looking for suggestions [$600]
At $600, the realistic shortlist: - DF64 v2 / DF54: 64 mm / 54 mm flat, single dose, the value meta pick. v2 fixes the chassis issues people complained about. - Sculptor 64: gen-2 flat, fast grind, very clean workflow, hits the same EY ceiling as much pricier grinders. - Niche Zero: 63 mm conical, l
