Gemini II

I looked into the likely lifespan of the Devialet Gemini II, especially the B32130 battery, which appears to have been produced in May 2022 and started regular use around October 2024. Based on a usage pattern of about 6 hours per day, the earbuds themselves would likely show noticeable battery agin

I own both the Gemini II and the Apple AirPods Pro 3. Since I only use my earbuds for getting around New York, I ended up using the AirPods 3 much more than the Gemini, simply because they’re more comfortable, better built, have outstanding battery life, and Apple's ANC leaves Devialet's in the dust

Not much beats the MTW4's bass quality and incisiveness, sadly. Here's how I'd rank the current sets (TL;DR here): MTW4 > Technics AZ100/AZ80 (with Dynamic EQ) > Denon Perl Pro with AAT and Immersion set to 1 > B&W Pi8 (push "Lo" and "Lo-Mid" by a few db, adjust mids and highs to preferences) > Sony

Always wanted to have the Gemini ii !!! But had bad reviews from people so never gambled buying it. I do own a Devialet mania and quite happy with it) that’s the best I can afford from them though 😅
