I scammed the honey extension and made $3000 in gift cards

It was a loaded dell XPS 15. I definitely would have chosen something different if I had more options. It’s been a few years with a new TurboTax account, so I’ve gotten over not having my tax history. All in all though, I wouldn’t do it again.

I scammed the honey extension and made $3000 in gift cards

It’s old. It’s a dell XPS 15, so it wasn’t the best laptop to begin with.

Why I will never buy Framework again

Dell repaired my laptop and when I got it back 5 days later I got a scam call with my service number saying to download "drivers", I asked why they didn't install them when I sent it in, they claimed it was because they didn't have the updates or some crap. I never send drives when doing RMA. Someon...

Why does Ubuntu feel smoother than Debian for me? Am I doing something wrong?

strange...it was the exact same for me but opposite...debian smoother than ubuntu and some other distros. maybe bc of my machine. dell xps 15 7590. i don't know why and if it'd be the same if i would test it again but in my early stages where i compared distros i stuck to debian bc of that. that was...

It seems that the end of service of Windows 10 is pushing Linux

I was wondering the same, My Dell XPS 9570 works brilliantly on linux? Even the fingerprint sensor and all work flawlessly, thats the niche things I expected I'd have issues with

PSA: Be wary of purchasing Dell computers with Intel Core Ultra processors for GFN use

I’ve had 2 Dell XPS 15’s and I’m never getting a Dell after this one comes to the end. Most problems I’ve ever had with computer. Theres some wacky thermal throttling thing going that I eventually got fixed by disabling one core from bioss.

Looking at you MacOS….

I just traded my 2020 Dell XPS 9500 for a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro last year and it's probably the best laptop I've ever owned. I'll probably get another 5 years out of this thing before I can be bothered to upgrade again.

What is the best laptop in 2023 ?

you can check out this list-i bookmarked it for myself, kinda helps narrow things down when you’re drowning in options. for what you want though, you’re basically looking at the higher-end creator laptops or the gaming/creator hybrids. check out stuff like: lenovo thinkpad e16 / slim series: good fo...

What is the best kind of laptop to buy?

i’d look at a high-end business laptop. they’re not flashy but they’re built to take abuse, have great keyboards, and you can actually get parts/battery replacements years later. think something like a Lenovo thinkpad X1 Carbon or a Dell Xps 15/Plus if you want more power for engineering/creative st...

My boyo is holding so well

I also have a 2017 laptop that is chugging along, a top configured Dell XPS 15 9560. The by far biggest issue is that it has an Nvidia GPU. It feels like support for Pascal has dropped of a cliff and with closed source drivers it's a big pain. Never getting an Nvidia GPU laptop again until they open...
