I am trying to decide between the Dell Pro 14 and the XPS 14. I was quoted $1400 for the Pro and $2100 for the XPS. I am most concerned about storage, durability, life expectancy. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

Glad I can help :) You could definitely do all of that even on most models of Dell laptops. For reference, I got my XPS to finish up working on master's thesis in electrical engineering working on electromagnetic simulations in vegetation, which can take upwards of 30 minutes apice to finish with th

Obviously it isn't correct to say that you aren't missing anything at all. However, again, given that you don't know if you're missing anything or what you would be missing, you won't be able to tell the difference. Both devices will feel like a massive upgrade coming from a 2011 XPS 13. I say that

Dell Servers

Pro 14 Premium. I’m waiting for my Dell rep to confirm, but I expect the constraint is RAM so it probably doesn’t matter.

Thoughts on Dell Latitude 5430/5440?

Which? The one I really mostly use now is the 7280. Btw, the Dell Pro 14 Plus (Latitude 7xxx replacement?) is not half bad. Core Ultra 200 series is very good, too bad the RAM is part of the package.

Dell pro 14 premium vs ASUS zephyrus g14

kinda depends how serious you are about cs2. the g14 with its 6700s or 6800s gpu will crush cs2 at high fps, but battery life is meh. the dell pro 14 has better build and battery but integrated graphics will struggle above low settings 60fps. if gaming matters most, grab the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. f

Need laptop suggestion

I’ve seen someone do AWS work on a cheap Chromebook. When everything is in the cloud and you don’t need to run any LLMs locally, you only need a decent computer to handle MBA coursework. If you actually want to run models locally, you’ll want something with great GPU performance. If you don’t care,

Any Dell Plus laptop users with Core Ultra 2 Series chips? How is the performance? how is the battery life? Is it a great upgrade upon 3-4 year old Inspiron series?

Its no MacbookPro, but for a Windows Laptop its great. I've got a fleet of the Dell Pro 14's running Ulta 7 265U Its a good chip. Its a good platform. No regrets
