Just casually poking around on ebay i the USA, it looks like the A3000 specifically is quite a expensive option. You can get reltively basic P15 Gen2s for as low as $300ish and as soon as you tack A3000 onto the description they're listed at $900. As another data point: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3363

would i just need to purchase a single 16gb or higher card, since the laptop already has a 16 in it Yes, but you’d have to match the spec (if you get something faster it’ll downclock to the slower speed) A list of supported configs can be found here. is 32 the highest i should go? No, you can go up

Best gaming laptop with the best RTX gpu you can find in your budget. I'm a professional motion designer/3D artist/video artist working on a AAA company and I'm using Dell 7760 laptop with RTX 3080 GPU at work, this laptop is 3 years old (will get replaced soon) but everything still works with no hi

Precision come in a lot of flavors, mine is a 7760 with an i7 and 64gb of DDR 4 ram stock its a pretty solid machine. I have replaced the same jack on quite a few Dell 7760 mainboards. It is fairly straightforward, but there are some tricks if you are savvy with multi-layer board desoldering / soldering, it can be achieved. The first and most important thing is since this is a consumer board, it has to be baked abo

Don't apologize for being confused. Even you learned something and that's my whole point. People that think they are informed can even mess up because of how convoluted everything is. Now you are throwing another Thinkpad model at me? I have to research P51, P53 and P73 now? What should I expect to

Thank you again for being the only person that is replying. Maybe it's just because you are the most knowledgeable. I thought I mentioned some of the games I wanted to play before but with all of the numbers and stuff it might have gotten lost. I'm looking to play Fallout 1 and 2, The Orange box, mo

The closest equivalent to the P series is Dell Precision. In particular if you were specifically targeting Intel 11th gen, Precision 5560, 7560, and 7760. (I don't actually know anything about the Dell Precision 3000 series or if there's any specific reason to avoid them.) (The reason I did not reco

What screen does the Dell have? Personally, I would buy the 7760. I have a 7750 and it is a very nicely built computer, the hinges are giant, the cooling is amazing (it can handle a full GPU and CPU load with no throttling or loss of wattage). It also has a full metal frame, and 4 NVME slots if you
